  • I just love how MSN spins this "he was harassed". Umm... okay, so even if he was, that's not why he killed these people. He killed them because he didn't want to go overseas. He didn't want to go overseas because he is Muslim. He thought that suicide bombers were justified.

  • I stayed away from Fords for a long time, but they have really changed. They put quality into their product now. I have a Focus and would not bother to buy the Hybrid one because my regular Focus (automatic) gets 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway...

  • My commute is less than 15 miles each way but takes about 40 minutes in the morning and 45-55 minutes in the evening. That is a short commute (as far as miles are concerned) so this tax probably wouldn't affect me. HOWEVER, my husband used to work 50 miles from the house.

  • There is no "BUSH DOCTRINE". She knew what Gibson was talking about and knew how to answer him, but he was trying to make it sound like there actually is a document called the "Bush Doctrine". There is not. It's an evolving plan to protect the country, it's foreign policy strategy, etc.

  • Radagast (in response to 143.3)- I didn't quote the entire bill. When it discusses sexual relations it also says that they will teach the pupils about the repucussions of having sex when they are underage.

  • I can see where you are coming from, but the way I read that is that it is more geared towards older kids and letting them know how to avoid "date rape", etc. It doesn't seem to be worded in a way to mean that it is geared to telling young children WHAT IS inappropriate.
